Happppppy Halloweeeeeen!!!! (:
This past weekend was full and fun! Friday night consisted of lots of family fun! Mallory's sweet sixteen party.. loved playing on the big slide and seeing all the cute little costumes. then afterwards i spent the night with Grace, Katie Claire, and Anneliese. Katie Claire has been begging me to atleast come over for quite some time now, so i figured this would be the perfect opportunity!
Saturday i killed time with shelb and olivia until saturday night! me, Brett, Shelby, Ben, Garrett, Maegen, and Ross went to eat Zaxbys for supper and then headed out for Arx Mortis! Arx Mortis is the main haunted house that i have looked foward to since last Halloween night, when me Andrew and Garrett went out there. last year was its first year as arx mortis. the previous years it was called greystone manor. well last year, we fell IN LOVE with it. it was by far the best one i have ever been to! we had so many laughs last year.. especially going with Garrett. for those of you who have never been to a haunted house with Garrett.. you have to steer clear of him because if you stand in front of him, he will pull your hair (just ask April) and if you stand behind him, its just as bad! because when Garrett gets scared his knees go out on him. therefore causing him to stomp on the poor person's feet behind him. but anyways, enough remeniscing from last year.
when we got to arx mortis and saw the line, we seriously considering just driving home. this line was insanity. but since we had already drove so far, and since we were determined to go to this amazing haunted house.. we stayed and endured. Preston, Luke, Dylan, Reese, Corey, and Kelsey ended up meeting up with us. and we endured the freezing cold line for about 3 hours. then all of the Gunters Mountain people were about to leave without even going through because it was already going on 12 am.. and they still had the two hour drive back. we then found out, AFTER standing in line for almost 3 hours, that if you just paid 10 extra dollars you could get a v.i.p pass and go straight through the haunted house. but we werent complaining too much because we still had like an hour left in the line. so we all ended up going through since we could go straight through now. but it still took about 40 minutes for both of the attractions we went through. me and shelb got stuck in the back for BOTH! and i was sooooo scared. in my opinion, it was even scarier than last year. and of course, alll of the boys left all the girls in the back. Luke ended up coming back there for part of the time, he was probably just tired of hearing our bloody-murder screams.. but im pretty sure it didnt get much better once he came back there lol. the second attraction... all the of the girls ended up in the back AGAIN! surprise surprise. with me and shelb in the very very back holding onto each other for dear life. i had so much fun! because like i may have already mentioned, those things dont really bother me that much anymore, i can usually get out with just several screams. but at this one.. i felt tears coming several times.. but i held them in!
needless to say, i cant wait for next year!!!!
i still didnt get to go to disturbia this year, which i heard was really good, and theres a few others that i would have loved to go to but just didnt get the chance to. maybe next year though(:

Funny you should ask! lately ive been remembering my dreams like crazy. so last night, i dreamed that i was going to church like any other random Tuesday night but there was a huuuuge crowd! and Brett was there.. but i wasnt sitting beside her. she was sitting in between two people that go to my church that she really dont know that well... well she ended up being beside sis Towana. and i saw an empty spot by sis Towana so i went and sat down by her.. and when i did she said that i had took somebodys seat but that was okay lol. but then i got up to go to the bathroom. and for some reason i stayed in there forever just doing a crossword puzzle or something. well then Brett texted me and told me to hurry up and come out there. and i heard that Brother Totchie was out there preaching. so i went on out there... and the crowd had dimished from being one of the biggest crowds we've ever had to even smaller than a normal Tuesday night!
THEN! i was talking to haley in some point in my dream. and she wanted to know what ICU meant. (who knows why it was those letters. but keep in mind this is a dream.. anything goes lol) so i went to whatever this ICU place was... and it had it written out on the side of the building what it stood for (cant remember what it was now) so i called Haley and told her. well then, this little old crazy lady came up and stole my purse! so i like got her in a headlock or something and ran inside the building with her to tell on her! and then at first the lady didnt believe me that she had stolen my purse. but then i guess she realized i was telling the truth and she tricked the old lady into going into the building and the nice lady locked her inside. and i was gonna call the cops... but my cell phone was in my purse that the crazy old lady had. and the woman that was with me had left her phone in the building. luckily, there was a rite aid right across the parking lot. while the other woman went and did some other stuff..... i ran to the rite aid to use a phone to call the cops. we had to work fast, because like ive mentioned this old lady is crazy. and she was trying to knock down the door. so i ran up to a woman in rite aid and asked her if i could use her phone to call the cops. well... at first she really didnt want me to use her phone because she didnt believe me!!! eventually... i talked her into letting me use it. i called the cops. and then there ended up being random people such as Nathan Davis and Andrew Cardin just sitting around in rite aid with me. the cops were suppose to be on their way. but then here comes the crazy old (and apparently super strong) lady!!! into rite aid! throwing a fit! she came at me like a bullet! but me, being as strong as i am, and being as mad as i was about her stealing my belongings, crushed her! i banged her head up against the wall until she was knocked out and probably barely still alive! and then for some reason i went and slapped Andrew in the face with her. lol. (im always being so mean to him.. even in my dreams.. poor guy lol) but i ran outside.. because i knew the police should be there by now. i saw one way over on the other side of the parking lot chasing a duck. i came up to him, holding her almost-lifeless body in my hands.. and turned her in.
Let this be a lesson to anybody who read this... never steal my purse lol

Smokies with Lindz!
so a few weeks ago me and Lindz went to smokies!! i was sooo excited to go too.. because i hadnt been since last fall and i just love it oh so much! <3 but anyways... we left out on that Wednesday at 4 oclock in the morning.. so i had to be up by 2:45!! me and Lindz rode with Uncle Rod and Aunt Donna and Mitchell Mouse & Dakota rode with Mamomma, Aunt Kristy and Jonathan. The ride up there was filled with lots of sleep and random songs that Uncle Rod would make up and the giggles of Aunt Donna. we went straight to Dollywood (minus the breakfast stop and gas stops). The Chances were there too.. but we barely saw them at all in Dollywood because everybody else besides me, Lindz, Mitchell and Dakota went to a gospel awards festival thing that lasted like alllll day. now dont get me wrong.. i love gospel music. i listen to it more than anything else nowadays. and i like going to watch them live and stuff. but when youre in Dollywood.. where there are big roller coasters and dippin dots and spinny rides and ferris wheels and a train and ALL..... i would be miserable being in a awards ceremony alllll day long! especially when it was as beautiful as it was that day!! needless to say... me and Lindz rode the fire out of the roller coasters. we also rode all the other rides too... such as the ferris wheel ( which to me is wayyy scarier than any roller coaster) but the roller coasters were def the best! and also... i am SOOOO excited because they have started building a new coaster! it should be done sometime next year... so surely it'll be done by my October trip next year!! #FingersCrossed it looks like its gonna be amazing... maybe even the best one they have so far! i seriously could talk abt Dollywood for hours. its just such an amazing place! enough of it for now though.
after Dollywood we went to our cabin for the first time. SUPER NICE! 3 stories.. plenty of bedrooms.. and every single bedroom had its own bathroom (which means alot when your sharing a house with 8 other people.. especially 8 other Underwoods!) it even had a hot tub! we all got ready to go eat.. then met back up with the Chances and went to eat at Texas Roadhouse. which is easily one of my favorites cause they have like the best mashed potatoes there! The trip was filled with delicious food and plenty of arguing between me and Blake (yes, it started as early as the first day) After we ate im pretty sure we ended up just going back to the cabin and chilling in the hot tub for the rest of the night. (well me and Lindz anyways lol)
The next day was our shopping day! we woke up, had amazingly delicious Mamomma breakfast, then headed out shopping. Tanger Outlets, here we come! One of my favorite parts of the Smokey Mountains! we went for hours and hours and spent dollars and dollars!!! and dollars! haha after we were all shopped out (and some almost out of money) we met up with the Chances again at Calhouns. Yet another one of my favorite parts of smokies! its seriously some of the best steak you can ever place in your mouth. easy. it was delicious, no doubt. after that.. the "kids" i guess you could say lol went to one of the little attraction things on the strip. we had tons of fun there.
after that, we went back home to play some scrabble and scattegories! it was just me, Lindz, Mamomma, and Aunt Donna that played scrabble. and i definitely called Mamomma out for trying to spell "NEAT" like "NEET" . and after an argument.. it was proven that I was the correct one! of course! we laughed sooo hard at that. she thought it was just so funny that i called her out , considering that most of the time her own kids are too scared to call her out on something like that ! after that, me, Lindz, Aunt Donna, Uncle Rod, Brother Rob, and Mamomma all played scattegories. (the boys were downstairs playing xbox... shocker there) scattegories was super fun though. definitely filled with TONS of laughing.
Friday was Gatlinburg day! which also means that it was pancake pantry day!! mmmmmmmmmmmm! i cant even put enough M's to describe it. its just so unbelievable. its one of my favorite parts of the smokies (every part apparently is my fav lol) we shopped around for a while after we ate.. and i reallllllly had been eyeing the sky lift. i havent rode it since i was little... and i had pretty much decided that i was going to this day. so just about everybody else had decided to go to some little motion ride .. so i figured that this was my chance for the sky lift. Blake ended up riding it with me, because he didnt want to go on the motion ride or something like that. so we put our differences aside for a 15 or 20 minute ride. it was such a pretty day... such a perfect day to ride the sky lift! the sun was shining bright on the mountains and it was just seriously the prettiest thing ever! we went to play arcade games after that... and then when we were on our way back to the trolley that afternoon i realized that i hadnt taken a single picture on the sky lift.... and i go furious with myself!!! how could i forget when it was such a pretty day!?!?!?!?!!?! #dumbmistake
we went back to bullfish grill that night.. which wasnt a hit with everybody but i sure did enjoy my mozzerella sticks! we went shopping then called it a day after that. (after more hot tub and girl talk for me and lindz)
Saturday was our final day. we got up and had yet another batch of delicious Mamomma breakfast. we got all packed up and then went to the chimneys for a bit. it was soooo cold though. it was beautiful.. but i really couldnt even enjoy it because of how freezing it was. after a few little pety errands we ran.. we were on our way back home. and i hated it. i wanted to stay for atleast another week!
Smokies is just so amazing. i think i could go for 2 weeks and not get a bit of tired of it.
That night once we got back home... i took the little Toney girls to the Haunted Gin. it was all of their first time to go to a real haunted house.. even Lindz's! Andrew and Ross also came with us.. i guess they were the so-called "men" of the trip. it was a decent trip.
My birthday was the next day! the big 1-9! yeah... i hate birthdays now lol.

Friday was Gatlinburg day! which also means that it was pancake pantry day!! mmmmmmmmmmmm! i cant even put enough M's to describe it. its just so unbelievable. its one of my favorite parts of the smokies (every part apparently is my fav lol) we shopped around for a while after we ate.. and i reallllllly had been eyeing the sky lift. i havent rode it since i was little... and i had pretty much decided that i was going to this day. so just about everybody else had decided to go to some little motion ride .. so i figured that this was my chance for the sky lift. Blake ended up riding it with me, because he didnt want to go on the motion ride or something like that. so we put our differences aside for a 15 or 20 minute ride. it was such a pretty day... such a perfect day to ride the sky lift! the sun was shining bright on the mountains and it was just seriously the prettiest thing ever! we went to play arcade games after that... and then when we were on our way back to the trolley that afternoon i realized that i hadnt taken a single picture on the sky lift.... and i go furious with myself!!! how could i forget when it was such a pretty day!?!?!?!?!!?! #dumbmistake
we went back to bullfish grill that night.. which wasnt a hit with everybody but i sure did enjoy my mozzerella sticks! we went shopping then called it a day after that. (after more hot tub and girl talk for me and lindz)
Saturday was our final day. we got up and had yet another batch of delicious Mamomma breakfast. we got all packed up and then went to the chimneys for a bit. it was soooo cold though. it was beautiful.. but i really couldnt even enjoy it because of how freezing it was. after a few little pety errands we ran.. we were on our way back home. and i hated it. i wanted to stay for atleast another week!
Smokies is just so amazing. i think i could go for 2 weeks and not get a bit of tired of it.
That night once we got back home... i took the little Toney girls to the Haunted Gin. it was all of their first time to go to a real haunted house.. even Lindz's! Andrew and Ross also came with us.. i guess they were the so-called "men" of the trip. it was a decent trip.
My birthday was the next day! the big 1-9! yeah... i hate birthdays now lol.

Blog From a Stranger
it has been FOREVER! so much has happened.. there's no way that i could remember every single thing to blog about. we'll start with MY JOBS!
well, as anybody who has ever read my blog should know, i worked at the dreaded books a million. i didn't like it.. at all. i loved the people i worked with, don't get me wrong.. i already miss them! but i didn't enjoy spending Sundays, Saturdays, and early early Friday mornings or late late Friday nights at books a mil. also, trying to sell discount cards was not a fun game. but annnnyways. enough complaining about the mil. lol. so i was at work on one monday... and they called me back to the office and told me that we would be closing the store that saturday! quick notice.. i know. i couldnt help but be extremely excited knowing that i would no longer have to work there.. but still i needed some kind of income somehow so i was a little worried about that! because i had been trying to find a job since like a month after i started working there because i wanted OUT! well, that week, i ended up working like 60 hours i think. and that was not working at all on sunday lol. one of the days i was clocked in for 14 hours straight! then maybe about Wednesday or Thursday one of my managers came out and told me that we'd be staying open for an extra week. so the next week i worked a good bit too. Then the next week i worked a little because we had to pack all the books up and send them back and whatnot. i did the magazines.. and i had to count them. i seriously probably ended up counting about 11000 magazines in just 2 days... and im NOT overexaggerating one bit lol.
I had been putting in for several jobs... like putting in at different banks and i had people trying to help me get on at TOC and at the utilities. i even had one woman come up to me while books a mil was still open and asked me to come in and fill out an application and come in for an interview about a daycare job. and that seemed pretty great because it was gonna be monday thru friday until like 5:30 or 6 every day... and also i was gonna be able to get free blue cross blue shield insurance with that too. its not really what i wanted because i wanted like a good job.. but i was thinking beggars cant be choosers! so i ended up going in for the interview and everything. well, meanwhile, my aunt Nickie had said something to me about taking over Kylee's babysitting job that she had considering shes about to be moving out to higdon. and aunt Nickie said that this was gonna be a really good job.. the only thing that i was worried about is that this job was only going to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and i really wanted something that was atleast 4 days a week.. preferably 5. i went on in for the interview for that job too though, just to keep my options open. ALSO Stanley and Denita Stinnett was needing help in their office just as like a secretary and stuff. but they was only needing like a few days a week too. So after the interview with Jenny, the lady that Kylee works for, i was sooo confused as to what to do! Working for Jenny would definitley have its benefits.. but the daycare job had insurance and stuff. Jenny offered me the job on the spot but i told her i needed a couple of days. well, the next day i think it was... the daycare called me back. and they offered me a job.. but the job they were offering me changed from full time hours to only 1 to 5:30 monday through friday. and considering that it was no longer a full time job.. i wouldnt be getting the benefits anymore or any of the vacation time and stuff. so, i kicked that idea fairly quick and called Jenny and accepted her job. I had also realized that since Stanley and Denita was only needing somebody a few days a week.. that i may could even work something out with them. and it ended up that it did! I've already started with Stanley and Denita... and my first full day with the kids (Norah -3years- and William -10 months-) is November 1st. i'll be working with Stanley and Denita on Mondays Wednesdays and every other Fridays and watching the kids Tuesdays and Thursdays! so it turned out perfect. I really believe the Lord gave me these jobs... because like i said i had been looking for another jobs for like 8 or 9 months and nothing else every worked out but when i actually NEEDED another job instead of just wanting a different one.. He worked something out for me! so far i have loved my jon at Rainbow.. even though this is only my second day.. and the kids that i'll be watching are just precious! (i went to meet them tuesday)
i guess that'll be all for today.. considering this blog is already wayyy too long lol. but considering that i'll be in front of a computer more often with nothing to do... im sure i'll be blogging alot more so ya'll can stop crying now ;)
